no wind, sun burning almost in zenit, deep blue sky, silent at first, i have cactuses and some palmtrees not far away, the patio tiles are burning under my feet, I wear only shorts and I am really tanned by now, a soft breeze every now and then, I grab a cold coke from the fridge, a lots of ice… putting on some electronic music on the stereo inside, the rented house looks like a box and I like it, moving the speakers outside to the patio, I want to hear every detail of the music, I like the bass, contemplating now, feeling focused and strong, closed, dipping my feet in the pool, not so refreshing as I had hoped but still ok,, taking another zip of the coke and then I jump into the pool, the music sounds funny down there,. coming up with the hair in my face,, all wet now, it feels great,. the lizards are too lazy to move when I pass, laying down in one of the chairs, I am all alone now, I like to dry up in the sun… the sun of palm springs.
