Today I heard someone speak about living in the moment. You have no past no future, just what is in this moment.
I realize that you can’t do this completely, I mean you need RRSPs and such, but for smaller things, like seeing a butterfly, eating a meal with friends, reading your favourite book, doing yoga, etc. I’m going to work on focusing on the present in these situations, instead of missing the moment by worrying about what happened or what is to come.

to calm the choas that is taking over my life, I decided to quit my part-time job to focus on school. It was getting to the point where I was having to skip yoga to finish my assignments, and that is an unhealthy way to live. So money will be a little tighter, but my life will be much calmer.
I got some bamboo for my room. I put it on my desk to help keep me calm and centered as I’m doing all my school work. (I figure I could use all the help I can get at this point!)
So far I’ve written 2 of my 8 final exams. The surprise is that I’m not my usual crazy exam self, I’m actually pretty calm. I even had a job interview this week and didn’t freak out at all, and maybe that’s why they offered it to me. We’ll see how zen I am during 6 exams next week. But so far so good.
Actually, despite having final exams/papers, being given 3 weeks notice to move out of my place by my aunt who I’m renting from. Which means I have to move out 2 days after finals. Not to mention all the family discord that’s going on right now. I’ve acutally been pretty calm about it all…..which is really good for me.
I am way to strung out all the time. I am a typical “Type A” personality. Maybe my life is a soap opera because I’m a drama queen?? I need to focus more on my yoga and finding my inner peace. Quiet down the noise and confusion in my life.
