become an engineer

Just finished Statics, “Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Systems”, and Surveying.

Grades should be coming soon. My prediction: B+, B, A – respectively. MEP was easy, but I think I’m looking at a B because the professor is a pretty tough grader. Either way, I learned a lot this semester.

I’m taking Occupation Safety as an elective over the Intersession and I have College Physics and Strengths of Materials tentatively scheduled for Spring 2010.

Calculus II – A

This fall: Statics, Surveying, and HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Engineering Economics – B+
Calculus I – A

This summer: Calculus II

I got an A in Pre-Calc and a B+ (pissed!) in Construction Management and Methods.

Next semester is Calculus I and Engineering Economics.

As the topic suggests, there is only one more day of class for this semester. I have already taken (and gotten an A on) my pre-calculus final.

I still have to write a paper and take my final for Construction class, but I have about a 90 average so far in that class.

I am registered for Spring classes (starts late January) and I’m taking Calculus I and Engineering Economics – should prove interesting.

I took Methods and Materials of Construction II over the summer and got an A.

I have Precalculus and another building course starting next week.

Just got the grades in today.

I also paid off my tuition for my Summer class which starts in a few weeks – Methods and Materials of Construction II.

Quick update:

I did receive two As in my Fall 2007 classes, I also got an A in my Intersession class.

Once again, I am anticipating two As in my Spring 2008 courses which have 3 weeks left.

After 6 years away from formal education, I started on my way toward my degree in Construction Management Engineering (pretty much the equivalent of Civil Engineering).

Since I’m going part time, I took 2 classes last semester and got As in both of them – sweet!

I’m on my way to boosting my GPA and getting things together. I already scheduled two classes for next semester as well as an intersession class.
