find a better job

I didn’t get the job at the engineering firm. I can’t really get a different job right now. Looking into buying a house. Also, my insurance company makes me rent my CPAP machine for 15 months before they will buy it.

that this job interview went very well. I think that the people doing the hiring might be hesitant to hire me however, because I’ve never worked in engineering. I really want this job. The job sounds very challenging, but doable. It sounds like it is very, very busy, which is good for someone like me who is borderline hyperactive. The work enviroment seems wonderful. A sight better than my current job where it seems like someone is laid off every pay period. Without severance. I gave it my best shot. Now it is God’s hands.

tomorrow for a different place. A guy that I go to church with works for this engineering firm and is trying to get me hired there.

I keep hearing rumors that our office will be closing. I would not be surprised. I work for a mortgage company. The mortgage business isn’t what it was. I had worked for one company for 7 years. Last year, the parent company decided to get out of the mortgage business. They ended up selling the company to two different companies. One looks like it will close within weeks. And then the company that I work for presently…they keep closing offices and getting rid of loan officers. Hello? If we keep closing branches, how are we going to get any business? Plus, they already had a home office so most of the departments in the office building that I am working in are duplicate departments. Really need to buckle down and get looking for a job.

I have applied at 5 places tonight. Hopefully, I will hear back from one or two of them. Have a job interview on Friday.
