This goal is going abysmally so far.
I really need to find a way to stick to regularly studying French. I think part of the problem has been trying to pick up were I left off. That is not were I need to be. I need to go back a few lessons and pick up there. I’d left off on section 3, but tomorrow I’m going to back to section 2 and redoing it so that my mind is right of section 3.

Now that school’s over, I’ll be doubling and tripling my efforts to work through the Rosetta Stone program. I hope to be through a significant portion by the end of summer.
After keeping a sharp eye on the Rosetta Stone Website, I’ve finally bought into it after they offered it at $399 for some sort of spring sale.
Anyway, it’s coming in today and I can hardly wait to start! My goal now, is to devote at least an hour a day to it. Wish me luck and I’ll post updates on my progress.
Au revoir!
I’m revisiting this goal, and feel it could be with reach this year. Talking it over with my wife, we’re considering buying into Rosetta Stone. The plan being to spend at least an hour on it everyday. I personally feel that this goal, one of the ones that have been on my list for a very long time, is actually attainable.
My french study has been going very well so far. I’m about three weeks in and have been keeping up with it. Steps on the BBC, and Tex’s french grammar have been primary sources of material. It is great how much a study, a couple days a week seems to add up.
I’m taking time everyday to at least spend 30 minutes on French, via the BBC course. Also, my wife and I are taking walks almost everyday, and during our walks she helps me with my French.
I took some French in high school and can still remember a little. My wife is taking it now and plans to become fluent in it, so I’d like to be able to converse with her once she does. Then maybe we can plan a trip to France, or Canada. In any case, it seems like we’ve been watching a lot of French films lately, and I’d like to be able to watch them without subtitles one day. I know if I’ll be able to teach myself Spanish, then anything is possible, maybe even this!
