My training is going well and today I’m going to try a new core workout called “around the world” I got from active.com. It looks pretty intense, but if I can do it about twice a week then I should be in pretty good shape and my abs should get ripped. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.

With my training, I’m noticing little improvements everyday. As soon as I’m a little more strict on my diet, it’ll only be a matter of time :)
Today, I’m doing some internet research to see if there anything to this goal that I haven’t considered and see what there is to learn about it. I came across a good article that said six pack abs is 90% diet and 10% exercise. I typically eat really healthy, but if I lower my carb. intake, I might notice some positive changes. Another interesting article talked about isometric ad exercise. This is where you just flex your abs and hold it. According to AskMen, if you do this several times a day it should become habit and you can do it anywhere. I’m doing this right now in fact.
I had thought is goal was going to be a little repetitive, and not very interesting, but it’s turning out to be actually kind of fun :P
I realize that having a six pack has almost nothing to do with being healthy or happy, but I figure “what the hell” I’ve always thought they were cool. I know it is just for looks, but I’m in OK shape, so maybe the aesthetic value will be enough to encourage me to do just that little bit extra. We’ll see.
