find work I'm passionate about

I’ve taken part of my A+ test so hopefully after that’s nailed down I’ll be able to do something I like more with my time.

I’m going to do some testing this Monday (6/19) to see if I qualify for a free computer training program which will get me a Microsoft A+ certification. I’m thinking I’ll try to work my way into a new career in database administration. :)

I’m starting college in June with the goal of a bachelor’s degree…probably in liberal arts, still deciding for sure my career path. I just feel stagnant and like our financial situation will never get any better if I don’t find better-paying employment. Hopefully I can combine that with my interests and it will be a win-win.

I’m doing the “life-changing” job search, but my biggest problem is I don’t have a degree in anything and money won’t permit schooling right now (I’d like to get rid of our debtload from credit cards/wife’s schooling first).
