Sunday after church, we went out to eat at Max and Erma’s (burgers/American food chain in our area), then for an afternoon of window-shopping at an open air mall. We did have our toddler son along but she really liked it and I think this counts. We had a good day. :)

My new goal will be:
Go out on “date nights” with my spouse on a regular basis. That goal is more measurable..I intend to do this weekly.
The debt situation is causing me to work so often that there’s not been 1 of these in a long time. I’m looking forward to May..my mom and dad are gonna take our son for 4-5 days to visit so that’ll give us a long uninterrupted “us” time. We still won’t probably be able to “go out” much but at least we can spend some time together. This year and last have been REALLY hard on our marriage..the debts are squeezing the joy out of living a lot of the time.
We just had a son and I see so many people get derailed by this. Everything is so much about the kids that they have nothing in common when the kids leave and they end up divorced. I don’t want this to happen to us, so now, before things head that way, I want to keep the romance in our marriage.
