I am really trying to work up to 5 days a week, but three/ to four at the gym and stuff at home… still doing it tho. I am going to see the trainer again sooner than I thought.

I really want to go hiking this winter/ spring and I want to be prepared to do the long ones. Excitement is in the air!

I’ve made it three days this week!! My goal is at least three, want to go four as a habit.

So far I am on track with my stated goal!! Yea



Have started 16 months ago

working on my goal. I went to the gym this a.m. It was later than I used to go by about an hour. I was 1/2 hour late for work, but I did it!!

I have yoga tomorrow nite, and then go again on Thursday and make it 1/2 earlier than I did today.

I will try and make a habit of this! And if I add a Saturday or a Sunday in there. WaLa I will have my 4 days in!

Now to make this a habit!! WooHoo I will be strong and sexier in no time!



Yoga class 17 months ago

it was exceptional last night!! I am going to practice my “plank” for 1 minute every morning this next week until I stop shaking! G



I did it 17 months ago

I went to yoga. I didn’t want to, but I KNEW it would be good for me. And I DID it! I was worried about that. It was a sub teacher and I HATED her., but she really worked stuff. I kept my mind clear.

I was on a 4 for morale today. And it was really true. What a relief! I know there are future days that will be lower for a minute.

I also know that I have it in me to change and get over this and not see him or talk to him. I am amazed at how strong I am being, but this was really BAD thing not just an oooops!

His texts are even driving me crazy and making me stronger.

Once again, this is my summer for what ever that is worth and for what ever it means.

I need to take care of me and mine and he needs to be gone. PERIOD. Over. Done. No more floor mat! G



this summer 17 months ago

this is my goal. Besides cleaning my house like it deserves to be cleaned.

I have challenged myself to this. I am tired of spending $50 a month every month on this. It comes out of my account right around my house payment time which really bites!!

It is for the whole family. I am going to start with me and if I do make this the habit that I want (3 and 4 days a week) and the kids do not decide to join me or go on their own. I will get my own cheaper membership somewhere else.

I need to decide what times will work for me and stick with it. I am thinking 5:30am (yuk), but I am so tired after work.
I have to come home to kids and to make dinner and it’s not like we need to eat at 8pm.

Saturday for sure. Sunday wouldn’t hurt either- they are just free days. Wed yoga was almost a habit and I fit that in just fine. There are 3 days already!

I can do this. And I need to shape up for the beautiful, healthy MAN that is going to be coming into my life and love me like I will love him.



Here it is 2 years ago

Three weeks into this yoga thing and I am feeling soooo good!!! It is painful still especially since I accidentally did the splits a week ago and really hurt myself!!!

But I am going and hanging in there and I must say I am already feeling the results!! Such strength training that it is!!! G

I am off to the gym tonight. I really have to do some weight training for these yoga classes!!! I just can’t believe how strong you have to be!
In the last one, the regular lady was ill and the substitute was a bit crazy!! We had people leave the class in the middle it was so hard! But, I figure some day… I am going to leave there and not hurt for two days!!

I am going to the beginning yoga class tonight. My daughter-in-law has ditched me, but my pregnant daughter is going and my middle daughter- Yea!!! I can’t wait to be able to do the advanced one without hurting myself!!!

I am NOT sure what I thought YOGA was (stretching, breathing, relaxing….) but I am very glad I didn’ go do this before work!! 15 min into it and I am thinking- this class CAN NOT be and hour long!! NO ONE could endure all this for an hour. BUT I DID IT!!!
I called the Y and the lady told me there was a beginners class (only one) and the majority of them were advanced. Well I asked her if it really mattered and she said no. O.K. let me tell you- IT DOES!!!

I have NEVER perspired so much EVER! When I was done I felt like I had just run a mile- full speed, as fast as I could, like a sprint. I am a little soar today and know I will be more so tomorrow!!

I am choosing to leave work a little early and go to the beginner’s class. I aspire to do what they did in the class last night without hurting myself. What strength!!! WoW! WOW!!!

So, anyway the guy said there is another on Monday night that is also advanced, but that she is a little more gentile. So I am going on Monday night with my daughter-in-love. And we are both going to the beginner one on Wed. with my pregnant daughter!!!

I am excited!! Way better than the boorrring treadmill!!
I think we are going to try the kick boxing on Thursday nights (which was just before the yoga).

UH-OH do you think this could turn into fun?????
