Well I am back to actually waking up before my alarm clock. Not that I really get up right then. But I have done it all week now that the depression has subsided. I attribute this to going to bed at a decent hour among other things.

So I have completed this goal

I actually did this on my own this morning!!! No roofers to help me out (they are done a day early!), no kitty sneaking into my room at dark thirty to help me out.

I did it all on my own and I didn’t even push the snooze button!! WooHoo!!!

today I did it! I woke up about 4 min before it was set to go off. Mostly from the cutsie kitty coming in the room. But I got up and had a nice morning! Yea!

Well, I was up early this morning. My son had his phone alarm that woke me up at 5. Mine is set for 5:30. I thought it was mine at first. After the 1st snooze (it snoozes on its own) I got up and then realized it wasn’t mine. But, I still got up before my alarm!!! I am counting it! WooHoo!

Just can’t do it. Even tho I have tons to do today and an early appt today with my son! Im soooo tired lately. It goes off at least twice! I hear it, but I just don’t want to get up!!

I did this today. The sun is up lots earlier now and that helps. My alarm is actually set for 1/2 hour after sunrise now so I will practice this goal throughout the summer and hopefully it will be habit by the time winter rolls around again. It sure helps when I am not drinking every night of the week as well!!! G



I have decided 1 year ago

that I am going to get my own alarm clock and not rely on my boyfriends. I tend to lay there until he gets up and that is not good.

I need to get into the habit of getting up on time before school starts again. I really need to be up by five to get out the door in time with-out screaming at my kids to hurryhurryhurry!! Is that possible????

Well I think it should begin somewhere.

I have to put that my to do list- get an alarm clock this weekend!!! G

I thought about my goal this morning. That is better than in the past when it never crossed my mind. I thought about it the second time I was pushing down the snooze button.

I was just soooo comfortable…...

I have to find something that I actually want to get out of bed for! Coffee used to do it, quiet time used to do it, but right now- NOTHING.

I am really going to make an effort to do this starting next week. Even if it is just to get up and watch t.v. for that 1/2 hour that I would sleep…
