Started going to the gym 13 months ago

On Monday, 12/1/08 I started going to the gym. A friend and I made a pledge to go together. So far getting up at 5:30AM, picking him up and we’re at the gym by 6:00. Been on the treadmill and swimming laps (yikes, swimming is a workout!!).

I hope that we keep it going and get involved in some classes.

I need aerobic exercise and muscle toning first. After I build up a bit of stamina, some more strenuous exercise.

If I do it right, I should be able to reach my goal of 25 pounds by May ‘09 (now 205, so the target weight is 180)

This is not going well…

Need to focus on eating healthy food, control portions and eat at regular times throughout the day.

Also need to EXERCISE!!!!!

I have a start date of September 5th.

I plan to lose the weight by Christmas.
