I have years worth of beauty products – both toiletries and cosmetics – that I’ve collected because I was on the hunt for the perfect products (or at the very least, mild products that do what they claim). I’ve finally found them, but I have drawers, cupboards and a closet full of old items that I must finally admit I’ll never use again.
I’ve held on to them for so long because I hate to waste, and while none of them are new (untouched), many, if not most, are practically full. I already called a women’s shelter and, unfortunately, they prefer not to have products that have been used.
So, I now need to bite the bullet: sort by what I definitely will use and definitely won’t (being brutally honest), discard the ones I won’t use, organize the ones I will so that I can work my way through them, and resolve not to buy any more until I’ve worked my way through the keepers.
