See and touch the snow!

Morurco is a small mountain behind Cotopaxi, one of our active vulcanos here in Ecuador. So we went camping there, watched all the star constellations we could and the morning after we climbed the mountain.

So… I finally saw and touched and walked on the snow. Although Morurco is not a very high or hard mountain to climb, it was a great experience. I dedicated this goal to my dad, who passed away a few months before.

I have never seen the snow… you know, here in Ecuador we don´t have those kind of winter seasons. Today I was chatting with a friend who is living in the US and he was talking about the temperature… so it reminded me about touching some snow.

Recently I joined to a Mountain Hiking Club, so one of these days we could go to one of Ecuador’s mountains. =) And it will be cheaper than travelling to another country ha ha.
