Rolling pound
Today I was paying for something in the clothes store and dropped a coin which rolled away somewhere I didn’t see. I thought it was probably a copper, so let it go. Just as I was leaving, the woman to my left bent down and picked it up off the floor- and it was a pound coin. I was really grateful she saw it because I am hard up and also because most people would have seen it and stepped over it, or even kept it for themselves.
Thanks lady :)

No, not like that!
Today when I went into college to collect my exam results I saw a friend coming towards me from the other direction. We ran towards each other and unexpectedly she lifted me up and spun me around- it felt great!!
A small thing but it made me feel really light, childlike and carefree :)

Yesterday I was walking down the cobbled street near the cathedral and I caught sight of the man from the health food shop putting out some baskets. When he came up, he saw me and smiled a REAL smile, like a really, really happy smile. I know him by sight and although I’ve been served by him maybe a couple of times in the past I would never have thought he’d recognise me but I think he did. All the same, it warmed my heart and touched me that other people are happy and cheerful and that they can transmit this so beautifully just through smiling. It made me feel like I’m welcome here on Earth, too, and like I belong.
