Establish an Official Bookcrossing Zone in Whitehorse

Few things beat walking into work and spotting a stack of books that I didn’t even bring in in the OBCZ in the corner. I love it! YaY for the safe and free sharing of books!

Bought a stack of books I’d already read, registered them on bookcrossing.com, put up a sign and started my OBZ! I posted in the yahoo! group and the forum. I intend to upload a picture of my location and get it listed on the global OBZ website, too. Hurrah!

Y’see, I’m pretty squeemish when it comes to “wild-releasing” bookcrossing books. My very first wild release ended up in a trash can! Therefore, I’m nervous about leaving books behind someplace. I want to establish an Official Bookcrossing Zone (OBZ) here in Whitehorse so I can safely release by books and know that, at the very least, the owner of the establishment won’t pitch them out!
