with respect and love.
This is going to be my mantra today.
And before I harsh on myself for the things I’m doing to add to my apparent age, I’m going to celebrate some of the things I’m doing to decrease it.
Familial things: no ovarian cancer in the family; my parents healthy long-term relationship; longevity genes
Lifestyle things: great sleep patterns; no meds; fabulous marriage; buff vehicle driven within the speed limit with seat belt and air bags; daily flossing; no drinking and driving ever; no cigarette smoke anywhere in my life; plenty of education; frequent stretch routine.
Food things: plenty of fruit; daily breakfast; diverse food.
My mom has a scale – I don’t. So I weighed myself after Easter dinner for the first time since January. Lost 5 pounds! That means a total of 205. I’ll check myself in another month or so.
... in which I’m not hiding behind a shawl:

I’m hiding behind a chair, but it’s better.
Thanks for the challenges, Amber! I like that format – will you do that again every now and then?

I actually do this comprehensively each year. Here are the relevant highlights from the 2007 plan…
My overall life purpose is…
To joyfully serve this beautiful, spinning Goddess
Health
to treat my body as a temple,
attaining and maintaining health
to feel well,
be strong and capable,
and look great.
