Keep my eye on reality  — 2 months ago

Although the credentialing is going badly, I need to keep my eye on the fact that we’ve gone from 27 events per year to 64. The reality of my work is that I’m kicking hind end. Heck with what it says on paper…

Ambivalence  — 4 months ago

It’s the March thing. Kind of coasting in the job. Everything was set up last fall. And this is the season that the Board can make changes that impact me… which they did, which is cool, it’s their job to carry the wave of change forward in a healthy manner. The Board, no matter who is on it, has a habit of voting for these changes that involve my department and not telling me about it. Credential  — 6 months ago

Had a bog phone call with the Professional Gazebo Certification Lady. I’m going to have to finish by January 2009. You cannot believe how boring the reading list is. Sigh. Got to finish!

Possible workshop  — 6 months ago

I offered to the District Gazebo Lady that I would love to share my new technique at a district conference – she liked my ideas adn will tell the planning committee!

Attention to detail paying off  — 9 months ago

Just a month ago I created a “How to Cover For Me” packet at work. Quite suddenly, the folks had to cover for me this week, and it worked!
