but the web site is going, and about to get a new infusion of material…
Summer was about a certain amount of rest and now I’m trying to get back into the old swing of things, but I’m not as enamored of the old swing of things. I’m going to look for what i can cut back on.
This Sunday is the big Opening Day in Gazebo Land, so I’m trying to focus on work, but (shhh) it’s not working.

is about a week from ready, it’s now up where I can add stuff, not hidden away on the designer’s laptop. Very exciting!
I envision myself carefully and gratefully taking half a day per week to tend my site and create new materials for it.

We buried my brother’s ashes today – then a whole family picnic on the beach where he grew up. Tired, happy, long drive.

I spent about half of my time at work fighting tears yesterday – there’s this professional credentialing thing that has made me a nervous wreck. Virtual hugs, please?

Ankles better

seems to be a reaction to a medication that I had to take a one-time-dose of. Who knew?

my sudden swollen ankles. They’re better but not perfect in the mornings, by afternoon, they can take an imprint of my thumb. I run 1.5 miles five time per week, so DSpouse says not to worry about it being Congestive Heart Failure… but I promise I will keep track of any other changes. And drinking more water can’t help, maybe the stagnant pond water just needs a little more flow!

Although it’s easy during Housebuilding season to make a meal for Them and just give myself nibbles of oddments and no real meal – yesterday I really sat down to dinner and ate it with Them. The kids had prepared most of it, and that made it easier to sit down, to pay respect to their effort toward the family’s common weal.

I’ve made up a pretty knitting pattern (which I’ve done from time to time before) and Shayleah is kindly test-knitting it (whee!) and thanks to the Ravelry.com website, I’ve shown it off and (here’s the excitement thing!) a couple of folks have asked for the pattern! Wow! That’s the kind of thing that will be going up on the Gazebo web site in a month or so, and I’m excited to think there will be folks who would like to download my stuff!
