Family Holiday gathering

graciously thanked my brother for truly well-intentioned truly horrible gift

gave niece exactly the gift she wanted (and she re-iterated thanks when she didn’t have to)

gave great-nieces hand made gifts which made them squeal.

Solstice morning included a random houseguest of one of our regulars, Cousin M whom we only see at weddings and funerals and of course, dear wonderful W and the D, regular guests on Solstice. All had custom designed gifts, full stockings, and we all together shared making fabulously awesome breakfast.

Shopping – got to gab with the T-shirt guy and let his home-from-college daughter know that he brags about her when she’s gone… Gabbed with the Maple syrup guy and made him smile… reminded neighbors about the bonfire on Friday, lit up their faces.
