They were turning up at the corners on DH’s work shirt. And around the edges. Heck with tacking them down, I got out the machine and re-attached them completely.

Parka  — 6 months ago

repaired the hood on D’s parka. Just needed to be tacked back down, and I had the machine out and threaded from yesterday. Wrong color thread. the child will never know.

Did the garters  — 6 months ago

and fixed that shirt that had the bleach stain. Was going to make it into a pillow, but realized that if I just cut off the sleeves, it was still wearable. Wouldn’t do this if it hadn’t had gorgeous picture of a wolf on the front…

Garters  — 6 months ago

Going to make ‘em right now for DH. They’re the ‘keeping your shirt tucked in’ sort of garter, and he wants them to go down to a foot stirrup. Poor DH has to spend 40+ hours a week in uniform and he hates it when it doesn’t look crisp.

Do not be looking for crisp when he’s housebuilding, that’s a different part of his copious brain!
