At our group’s last Jam session, Stacy brought up a great idea for a song, and we fleshed it out a little. I’m hoping that we make that a more regular thing, then buckle down and get some of them written.

As I get my new “contract-free” life in order, my good friend and musical partner-in-crime have decided to collaborate more seriously on music together. Once my housing situation settles down a little, we’re making a once-a-week appointment to work on music together with the goal of making an album.
I can’t WAIT to get started, and hope to start scheduling my own “compositional” time in the next month.
Lately I’ve gotten in the habit of taking out the guitar in the evenings and improvising silly songs about our three cats. It’s great fun, and feels like it’s getting some lyrical creativity back into my life.
I’ve written one song that I’m truly happy with, and lots of accompaniments I like to other folks music. I’ve co-written some good stuff.
I want to start writing my own songs regularly, both music and lyrics.
Milestone:- Write a song NO MATTER HOW BAD every day for a month.
- Write an album’s worth of new material.
