I feel like I’ve tried everything. The spectrum from “one change at a time” to “full-scale lifestyle change.” I’m just so tired of failing. I want to not eat so much crap, but scaring myself into it by watching Movies about the food industry, or reading scary articles doesn’t work. Reasoning with myself is not working. I think I’m addicted to crud, and feel sad because I just don’t like vegetables!!!
I drink too much and don’t exercise enough, though I’m better at exercising because it’s a decision you make once a day, instead of every minute of every day…
I’ve tried plans where there’s no thinking or decision-making about food, and those work temporarily but aren’t a template for long-term use.
So, I’m almost 35. About 30 pounds overweight. Family history of heart problems. So far, no health problems myself, but that won’t last forever. At least I don’t smoke.
Don’t know what to do to get some resolve…
