this is an Asiatic Lion, taken at Edinburgh Zoo.
he was a playful kitty, coming over to high five the glass of the observation booth.

This is Choi Hu, who lives at the Sedro Woolley Tiger reserve thingy. This shot is several years old, so I don’t know if place still in operation. The owner hand raised the two tigers. Choi Hu was quite playful, gleefully splashing me with mud. When she licked my hand (thru the fence, I’m not totally daft), I was surprised at how soft her tongue was – no rougher than a domestic cat, although her fur felt more dog like than cat.

Jailhouse Kitty 2 was spotted on Lynedoch Street in the Charing Cross neighborhood of the West End in Glasgow.

This window is a couple of floors up and I was a bit nervous for the curious cat – but it eventually went back inside. I think it was enjoying the view of the Edinburgh Castle.
