Chart has been updated, and printed. I’ve been working on some of the stuff already this week, but have it set to officially start tomorrow. That annoying asshole of defeat voice has been going off daily, but so far I’ve managed to squelch him. I’m determined to maintain a focus here.

man, ANOTHER goal I hadn’t accomplished and hadn’t written an entry about in a year. Yikes.
well, this seems to tie in with a few of the other goals – a way to track it so I’m going to review and revise and restart this by Monday.
jeez, I looked at the first entry for this goal and it was nearly an entire year ago. Feh, this year has sucketh, the new one is a great opportunity to make a new start. I’ll begin this goal again when I get home on January 2nd.
I guess if achieving my goals were easy I wouldn’t need this sort of website. Have totally slacked on Chart II. I’m going back (again) to the drawing board (again) to update this and have it start on July 1st.
I didn’t ‘exercise’ today as 5 hours of photography walking is pretty slow so I don’t consider that real exercise, but it’s the weekend and I’m off on weekends so what they hey. I did the proactiv, lotion, and flossing though—but no veges. And since I ate chips I passed on the chocolate fudge cake. I lurv pub chips. Yum.
I’ve also made some good progress on my Whine List. Funny thing with that is that for every item I cross off two more crop up. Either I’m just putting everything on my list as a to-do, or I whine A LOT.

Guess time still flies even when you aren’t having fun! Anyhoo, tomorrow is April 1st and since I did so well on my last April Fools challenge (I stopped smoking), I thought I’d dust off the old Gold Star Chart II and finally set that fucker into motion.
I’ve designed this with items that must be completed each day, excluding weekends, and then there are two items (facial, pedicure) that I’ll just do monthly.
exercise, vitamins, veges & fruits, floss, lotion (both am & pm), proactiv (face crap), journal, and Whine list.
What’s a Whine List you ask?
It is the list of tasks that I really must/need to do in spite of the whiny voice in my head saying “I don’t WANNA”. This is a surprisingly long list. SO, every day I must tackle just one item from the list.
I had success using one of these before, so I’m doing another one to get me going in 2008. This one is going to be for 3 months and include some self-pampering items too. It’s sad that I have to ‘force’ myself to be kind to myself, but I’m battling many years of negative issues and need the reinforcement.
I need to think of a really awesome reward for myself, and then I’ll post up the chart.
