Not the same kind of bassist

Unlike the majority of you who seem to be electric bassists looking to expand their bass-playing to another level, I’m actually a different type of “bassist”- I’m a tuba player. And it’s incredibly useful for a tubist to be able to double on the double bass (no pun intended?). I already have the trombone and euphonium down, so this is the last instrument that is necessary to add to my arsenal (for lack of better words).
Also, it certainly doesn’t hurt that double bass has more uses than just orchestra!
