Watch all of Dark Shadows

We just watched the Dark Shadows movie “House of Dark Shadows”. It was SO BAD. I mean, we love bad movies… and the show is admittedly REALLY bad but we love it anyway. However, everything we love about the show was missing from the movie (except the bad acting. Probably because it wasn’t live). It just wasn’t bad enough or campy enough – or FUN enough – to rank among the other awesomely bad horror movies we love (ie – Hammer Horror films). It had an overwhelming feeling of meanness – as if they were trying to compete with the other more “serious” horror films made at the time.

Anyway, if you’ve watch the show, seriously, SKIP the movie.

That was the last one we returned to Netflix last December. Now that the summer replacements have started, it’s time to get these back in our queue so we have something to watch.
