I just have to drink it with milk (preferably milk – not cream). in a pinch I’ll use cream or even that crappy “creamer” stuff over a straight black coffee. Heck, I’ve been known to use powdered milk in my coffee to prevent having to drink it black.
But I fear I’m missing out on the true flavor of the coffee. And… it can sometimes be difficult to find milk or cream. Not to mention the calories, the cost, the inconvenience of always having to have fresh milk at both work AND home.
So I’m going to try and ween myself (heh!) off the milk. I might just have to buy better coffee to make this work. Unless I’m having guests over, I just drink Folgers.
