im posting late for friday, but today at this moment, im at 143.8 pounds.
i am having an off period right now though- eating chinese take-out, pizza, and last night eating delicious spicy fried hot wings at a family get together, oh and lots of candy as well-chewy atomic fireballs and hot tomales.
so im binge-ing, sort of, but now its time to moderate and get certain things in my life back in control so i can stop binging on sweets and spicy foods. (i know its emotionally charged eating, although those spicy hot wings were really, REALLY good!) I cut myself a break, and move on…
My family thinks i look great and are proud of me for quickly getting back in shape, and thats nice to hear.
Still, I have a few more pounds to go. I’d like to lose 1 more dress size, then i’ll be able to stop and hopefully maintain.

No change in weight this week. Some stress has taken priority over weight loss goals, but Im still maintaining diet to a degree. I should reach 140 by end of Sept. if i do the right thing and quickly eliminate unnecessary stress.

It stayed pretty steady here all week. Im feeling like myself again (in physical appearance), and am ready to go shopping (next week, if finances allow it).
I make better choices with food and I make sure i keep a bag of peanuts to snack on in my purse in order to have a defense against urges to eat candy, chips or french fries when im out walking.
Again, no gym, no cardio, but lots of walking and errands.
Im losing weight and my skin is looking better too.

This morning my scale actually read at 145 pounds, but it stabilized this afternoon at about 146 and change, so im estimating that im at 147.
145 by the end of month will be great.
My diet for this phase of weight loss is focused on 3 things:
- Detox
- Balanced Nutrition
- Hair/Skin/Nails (Beauty foods-LOL)

im not in a hurry for this one, but i am watching what i eat.
and i may need to rely more on exercise as i think im hitting some kind of plateau. Im still doing Friday recaps and weigh-ins

i did it. i lost another 10 pounds.
i went from about 160 pounds to 149 pounds.
it took 6 weeks
i watched calories, walked, drank more water than normal, and only drank diet drinks, like diet green tea. i ate fruit and nuts every day, but had a well balanced dinner with lean meat with the fam in the evenings.
i see the biggest difference in my arms this time. They are looking good to me.
im going to do another ten pounds or so (149 lbs to 138 lbs), but my deadline on this next ten pounds is not as tight. After all, summer is almost over. My focus is to really change my relationship with food, really get to know it nutrition-wise, and actually cook more. i really want to avoid processed foods and excess sodium, sugar and salt, and other junk food.
im guessing this next 10 pounds will also take about 6 weeks.

but i wont check this off as done until i feel stable at this weight. (this Friday’s weigh in)
also starting this Monday, ill be starting to focus on health conscious food preparation, and eating a diet with much more variety.

im a little frustrated, but over it.
I stuck to diet, ate well balanced diet, drank water, walked, but still havent done any real high impact exercise.
Also there were a couple of days, mid-week, where my scale was reading 150.8 (tuesday and wed). This was also an extra water carrying week for me, so again, I wont sweat it.
I’ll try again to hit 150 by next Friday.
Im now going into Week 6.

just researching and doing alot of reading on the subject.
I want to try something new after i finish this goal, and as i work on losing my next (and perhaps last) 10 pounds.
Im also going to be doing alot more cooking with whole foods, and I want to make really intelligent choices about it.
