Hello everyone,
I have toured with many bands and will be touring all summer. Two years ago I knew nothing about touring or the music industry at all but I have a solid grasp now. Things you need to know. First touring your first or second time out can be expensive so plan your tour 6 months in advanced be ready to float the cost of getting promotions out there (you get invited back and better money if you promote). Second try to play your local set for that 6 months so you can have a healthy band fund.
