DAY 22 8 months ago

With 3 weeks done, I am down to 175 lbs. 4 lbs….Not as much as I would have hoped but I’ll take it. I’m going to work really hard this week and see if I can lose at least another 2-3 lbs. My diet regimen has been pretty consistent. No junk food, no sweets, just reasonable portions of healthier choices. We’ll see how much I can push myself this week.

DAY 13 8 months ago

Second full week, still going strong, dieting and exercising regularly but I haven’t weighed myself yet. I can feel the weight loss in my clothes though, that’s a nice perk. Kind of had an epiphany this week to step my game up in life in general. Definitely feel like I needed that kick in the butt to remotivate myself!!

DAY 7 8 months ago

Today is my first rest day. Feels kinda nice to give my body a break after 6 consecutive days of workouts. But let’s not get too excited cause I’ll be right back to it tomorrow morning. This morning I was the exact same weight as I started, which is 179, but I’m actually okay with that because I expected to gain 2 or 3 pounds in the very beginning from weight training and all the adjustments my body is making from no junk food and sweets to healthier choices and exercising. Finally my headaches passed as well. The first 3-4 days I had massive headaches. Who would have thought your body could have withdrawels from junk food! :)

We'll just call this DAY 5 8 months ago

Day 3, but really it’s like day 5 cause I really started training on Sunday, March 29th. So I forgot to put my starting weight, seeing as how I’m trying to lose about 50 lbs. this might be helpful to track my progress…I am currently 179 lbs! :( Being 5’2”, that’s not so great for me and I really don’t have a specific number in mind but I’m thinking 125ish. I’ll go until it looks right basically! :)

Hagerstown Sprint Triathlon July 26, 2009 8 months ago

So I have been talking about doing a sprint triathlon for a few years. Time to put up or shut up, ugh, part of me is actually kind of dreading it. Not the triathlon itself but the consistent training to do it. I know I’ll feel much better about it once I actually start training and get in a routine. So here goes…DAY 1, only 117 days to go! :)
