Meal Plan: Day 2 13 months ago

Breakfast: Tea with Soy Milk
Lunch: Salad with broccoli, 1 egg white, artichoke hearts & asparagus
Snack: 100 calorie bag of popcorn
Dinner: Steamed Vegetables
Dessert: 1 piece of fruit & tea with tsp sugar

If I go to the gym I am going to consider this a “perfect” day!
Exercise so far: 10,000 steps

i did so GREAT today—-probably ate a little under what I should have but exercised and according to my pedometer got in 17,000 steps!! I work in NYC and every day walk from my train station to/from work (about a mile and a half or 30 minute walk each way)...thn i walk the full hour during my lunch break and tonight i pushed myself AND went to the gym for 35 minutes on the elliptical!

woo im tired…goodnight all!

CLEAN MY DAMN ROOM!!!!!!!!!...this is key to me not binging tonite..for some reason when my room is a mess i feel so crazy inside, like out of control and this triggers a binge…weird huh?

i really don’t have to “diet” all day long, i just need to watch what i eat at certain hours of the day…

on the weekdays these hours are so easy to predict, since i have the same schedule everyday…so taking one step at a time starting today I am really going to pay close attention to my hours of weakness:

1. Morning (between 6AM-7:00AM)

2. Evening (between 7PM-10PM)

in these two little windows of time, I consume my most calories…night time eating has been a particularly big challenge for me.

this means i have to only NOT be self destructive and be cautious for 4 HOURS of the day!!! wow that seems so little!

Morning Weigh In: 119lbs
Goal Weight: 110-112lbs
Height: 5’4

Just bought a new (human) scale and a food scale which measures out each food item and tells you the calories, salt, fat, protein and fiber in each food. Its kinda cool, you just look up the food item and its designated code in the book the scale comes with and enter it into the machine!

Snack 1: water w/ 2 tbsp pure cranberry juice.
4 strawberries

Breakfast: 1 container of blueberries! (serves 2)
1/2 serving of grits w/ 4 strawberries

Lunch: MASSIVE salad!!! Filled with vegetables galore and an
egg white.
Diet Root Beer

LATER:

Dinner: Steamed Broccoli w/ lemmon, ms.dash, onion and garlic

Snack: fruit smoothie with water or bag 100 calorie popcorn!

This is ALOT of food for me. I used to be anorexic and I am having a hard time looking at this list of food knowing that it is still only 3PM and look what I have eaten. I never used to eat more than 200-300 calories prior to 7PM. I don’t want to be the way I used to be, but I have gained 30lbs since then. I would like to lose just 8-10 lbs..and I will be happy at this weight…I am scared because I don’t have the security of knowing that I could potentially eat later, because I used up most of my calories early on….ugh stupid eating disorder thoughts. YOU SUCK. I won’t binge tonight i promise myself i wont binge tonight!!!

Breakfast: Slice of light Rye Bread (50cal) and approx 15 mini rye bread crackers (90), 74 calorie protein jerky
Snack 1/2 apple cinnamon oatmeal w/ handful blue berries (100)
Snack 100 calorie bag popcorn
Lunch Minestrone Soup (180)
Snack: 1/2 apple cinnamon oatmeal w/ handful blue berries (100)
