sell our house

I want to be kind. I had to call the previous owner of our new house for instructions for the fireplace, and she was less than kind. She gave us her number at closing, suggested that we call if we ever needed anything, and when we do – cold, evil, nasty even.
All I can say is the house she used to own is filled with love. I can’t wait to erase her footprints off of the design, there is more than a cold chill in this air.

So, we fired agent 1 and we’ve moved onto agent 2. This agent started with advice and recommendations before she would list the property. Do we have the extra money, no. But…I so appreciate that she is really committed to moving forward and not just sticking out a sign with no regard. So, somehow, have to come up with the additional funds – so that the brick bungalow can be sold in this lifetime.

I’ve got $700 of consulting to do, a house to reprep and a new prayer to begin to eliminate this drain on us.

So, we have officially started the process to end our relationship with the existing realtor. I was pretty depressed, we’ve had 2 mortgages for several months and I wasn’t convinced he was working hard on our behalf. There were expectations unmet – and I’m a realist. I understand Michgian’s economy – we moved. I understand its a small brick bungalow – but hey, we bought it. I understand it is approaching winter, but we bought it in winter. I understand it takes time – but our budget can’t sustain both mortgages.

So, the countdown really begins on December 1st. We are reviewing realtors, I am more engaged, and I am going to start my renewed prayer focus on getting this house into the hands of its next family. I hope that I have great results to post very soon.
