People have been saying I look thinner again… But I’m not sure :/
Haven’t been drinking much water, have been smoking more, haven’t been eating as much…
I guess it makes sense; outside getting better but innards getting worse I bet.

My diet at Download consisted of 4 doughnuts, a portion of chips, 3 meals of noodles, a pasta snack thing, some bread and butter, lots of booze and a few gallons of water… This was spread over 4 days. Alongside this was lots of walking to and fro between blue camp, the village and the arena (which was like a mile away from camp!)
No wonder I think I’ve lost a bit more weight!
home from work. Took me a total of an hour and a quarter, from Brickendon to Hoddesdon via windey footpaths and single track roads. I wasn’t exactly sure of the route and thought I was horrendously lost along the way so am gonna map it now!
But yes… Exercise good.
This was however after working 10am-3pm lugging about equipment (ready for open week) and putting up with the bosses kid (new baby means her going mad for any attention and being naughty). I must be mad.
EDIT: 3.5miles in 75mins = so I was walking at an average of 2.8miles per hour LOL! Mind you… I did have to stop for cars to pass me, and to look at the muntjack deer in the woods, so easily take off 5mins methinks. Oh well. I did go majorly off route it turns out… By ooh about a mile. Stupid unmarked roads and footpaths surrounded by hedges. Least I know which route is best now! (The one I used to go by).
My baggy jeans aren’t AS tight around the waist so being ill must’ve shed a bit of weight off me… I’d rather think it was me drastically cutting down my drinking that did it though :/ Who knows.
Mike in the archery club said “Hey kid, have you lost weight?”
My reply was a rather surprised “umm, maybe, I hope so. Thanks.”
I don’t know whether I have lost a bit or whether it was me dressing better that gave that illusion tbh. Either way it was nice to hear.
... I really should buy some new scales lol.
Yes, as you know I’m ill and thanks to the reduced appetite, fever and vomiting I’m bound to have lost weight by the end of this.
... I’d rather have stayed healthy and heavier though.
Yesterday I weighed myself at Andy’s and at mine. My scales told me I’m 13st again (they must be broken coz how can I put on like 8Lbs in one day?) but Andy’s scales told me I’m 12st and they’re only ever a couple of Lbs out maximum.
So yeah, in short I must be 12st rather than the 13 I thought!
... And I need to buy some new scales.
Woohoo!
I’ve lost a lil bit of weight apparantly :) I’m now 12st 8 roughly (according to my same old dodgy scales) which means I’ve dropped all of 6Lbs. W00p! I don’t think it’s visible difference but hey, it’s still a step in the right direction.
I’ve been walking the Hertford to Ware (or vice versa) back route more lately, coz of our mates Iain and Paul(D&D Tuesday nights) who live in Ware. It’s a pretty big hill and takes about 30mins (in my ankle boots, not flat shoes). This as well as my regular amount of walking around Hertford and up to Bengeo, I decided to treat myself yesterday (when my wages went in). I wanted it to be a treat that wasn’t some kinda really unhealthy food / sweets; so I bought James Wong’s book, and an egg mayo sarni & coffee at Rose Cafe while skim reading said book. Lovely :D
After visiting Sarah in ‘Over The Moon’ and chatting for about an hour, I walked up to Bengeo as per. Andy, Ben and I went for a walk over the fields, then back to Andy’s to get our things, and then did said walk to Ware for D&D.
Gotta love exercise; just hope I can carry it on! I always have more energy when I do a lot of exercise, strange eh?
Still not understanding Matalan’s logic but hey.
Things are going well on the drink front. I’ve roughly halved what I used to drink in a week (finally!) and I’m drinking a lot more water too :)
Mentally I feel a bit healthier now I haven’t got as much hanging over my head…Smoking is still a constant – about 6 a day give or take 1 or 2.
Exercise-wise I’ve been making sure I walk up the town a couple of times a week minimum as this month I’ve got about 2days a week at The Camp (as the bosses’ baby is due) so not doing as much as normal :( I’ve been walking around Hertford a fair amount too though. I really wanna shift some of this fat :( My waist has started to disappear and I dislike my thighs even more! I’m 5’6” and 13st. I wanna shift that 2st I seem to have put on… Or maybe I need new scales lol. Either way I wanna get back to what I looked like when I was 11st according to them.
I’m trying to eat smaller portions – what I eat is mostly healthy stuff, just too much of it! Like a mountain of pasta when I cook it. I’m also continuing to have a reduced intake of milk and cheese as it was just scary how much I got through before.
... Doesn’t help having 4 easter eggs next to me though lol!
