stop using plastic bags

Well I’ve been pretty good with this… I’ve had a few lapses of surprise shopping (left the house without my bags only to need them later) but every time I’ve intended to go shopping I’ve remembered to take my canvas/hessian bags with me :D I’m gonna tick this off my list but carry on helping the planet a bag or two at a time haha!

It makes me smile every time I can say “I’ve got [/don’t need] a bag” to a cashier :)

A Tim Minchin song that got me thinking again…

I always take my giant hessian bag when I go shopping but I need to find my smaller cotton one again so I can fold it up into my handbag so I don’t have to resort to plastic when out and about!

Yeah, for the record, go on youtube and search Tim Minchin – Canvas Bags… He’s got a great point and the video is rather amusing! On that tour he even gave out cloth shopping bags… I clearly shoulda been there!
