Oh yeah... 1 month ago

Also been to Dover castle recently, exploring all the grounds and tunnels (as many as you’re allowed to).

Ahh, can’t wait til November for our Norfolk Broads holiday! 3rd-7th on a fully heated cruiser, just sailing along at our own pace and taking in the sights… Bliss.

Glasto again! 2 months ago

Went to Glastonbury again this year for Andy&my anniversary holiday. Did the usual Tor and Rifleman’s Arms but also went to Cheddar this time. Explored the caves which were GORGEOUS, had a cream tea, chatted to the people in the museum about flint knapping and friction fire lighting (and gave them some rather unwelcome advice as how to improve from our experience) and sampled the local cheeses <3 omnomnom!

Went to Margate with Andy, his bro (Lee), his dad (Mark) and his Nan (Patricia) the other day. Was a good giggle with sight-seeing which included the viking ship at Pegwell bay <3 and shopping.

I love exploring new places.

Gloucestershire and Wales – although brief – was awesome fun :) Andy&I went to do a flint knapping course near Lydney in a place called Alvington with Karl Lee (an archaeologist and famous flint knapper).
We also had a wander near the Forest of Deane and then went into Wales one day. We went to Caer Leon, a gladiator training and show arena in Newport. We also saw the ruins of some Roman barracks and went in the museum for a gander at the artefacts :D Was sad to have to leave!

Cornwall 16 months ago

Cornwall was gorgeous despite 2solid days of rain and one mainly rain. Least we got that 1 full day of sun to balance it out a bit lol.

Visited: Perranporth, Marazion, St Michael’s Mount, Cornish Cyder Farm, Redruth Cinema (30’s style), Tintagel, Boscastle, Stonehenge, Avebury and Silbury Hill.

Tried (proper Cornish): pastie, ice cream, cream tea, fudge, mead, cider.

Definitely reccommend Cornwall to others for a chilled out holiday and lots of castles etc!

Amsterdam was great fun and we found loads of new places as we went for a hotel in a different part of the town :)

We made a diary of all the different coffee shops we went to so I’m more than willing to give advice about which ones are the best!

We returned to the Saint (it’s a must for us) and put another doodle up on the ceiling to add to their collection. It’s great seeing them again when you return lol. The atmosphere is great in there, not to mention their milkshakes and other things on sale lol.

The guys and I are returning to Amsterdam in 3days w00p!!! Can’t wait! Am in the process of panicking about washing and converting money as we speak huzzah!
We booked the flights about a month back, and the hotel about a week ago. Can’t believe it’s almost time to go back there heheee!!

<3 GLASTONBURY! <3 2 years ago

GLASTONBURY RULED! No, not the festival, just a spur of the moment holiday!
Andy took me there as he’d been before and knew I’d instantly love the town! I totally reccommend watching the sunset up the Tor, the Rifleman’s Arms (pub), Chalice Well & Gardens, the Abbey and of course “The Isle Of Avalon” campsite!
