Get a tattoo

I really had this goal in mind for a very long time before I decided to fulfill it. The tattoo is in my upper back, between the shoulder blades. I’ll post a photo as soon as it’s healed (in a couple of weeks).

I have an appointment with a tattoo artist on Thursday. :-)

The first one is the matching tattoo with my best friend, whom I’ve known since I was four years old, and if everything goes as planned I’m going to get it done during this month.

The second idea is based on Scandinavian mythology I’m going to get two ravens on the backs of my shoulders. I’m still working on the exact design and I have to get the first tattoo done before taking these two, but it’s good to have ideas. :-)

I know what I want and where I want it, so I think I will finish this goal relatively soon.

As soon as my best friend gets out of the army, we are both going to have the logo of our band tattooed on the same body part. It will be a symbol of our friendship.

I have a friend, whom I’ve known for as long as I can remember. No matter what will happen in this life, there’s no way we wouldn’t be friends. There is no other person, of whom I could say the same. We have grown up together and we really understand each other’s thoughts and I couldn’t think of a better friend than he is.

I was thinking about making a proposal that we’d get matching tattoos. This friend of mine could design it, because he has some artistic talent and he draws quite well. That would be meaningful and unique, just the way I like it.

I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo for years and there are a couple of designs that I have considered. Two things are for sure: if I ever get a tattoo, I want it to be unique and somehow meaningful. I think it’s perfectly fine if someone wants to get a tattoo just for decoration, but for me there has to be something more to it.
