go on a road trip with no predetermined destination

This goal has been on my list for a very long time but I still haven’t been able to do much to complete it. Maybe this summer I could try to do a random road trip. I doesn’t even have to be long; a couple of days or one week would be enough and surely a lot of fun.

I’ve also talked a lot about going on a road trip to Norway with my best friend but that’s an entirely different thing.

Today my best friend suggested that we should do a road trip together next summer when he gets out of the army. Well, I have had this goal in mind for over half a year, so it shouldn’t be a big surprise that I eagerly agreed with him.

Our plan is to travel as lightly as possible: all we need is a car, two sleeping bags, lots of cds and some clothes. At first we are going to drive around eastern Finland but besides that we don’t have any predetermined destination in mind.

I would love to have an adventure like this. Preferably I would first travel a little bit around Finland, then go exploring rest of the Europe and finally drive through northern America, from coast to coast.
