Sell a painting

I find it interesting becaouse I have not gone I this website in about I year and my life is totally different from when I last visited the site. My first ‘sold’ painting was not really a sold painting it was a gift to a person and I don’t even remember why I concidered it sold. I do comissions now through an art stuido and just yesterday I got payed for one. A man wanted me to do a painting of his dog. I feel I did quite a nice job. I was not there when he picked it up but from what the owner of the studio told me was that he loved it. He came with his daughter to pick it up and she cried when she saw it and he got a little misty. I didn’t know at the time but I guess the dog has passed on and I captured it just right. I sold two paintings for 20 dollars. They were probally worth like 80 each but thats OK. It was to a friend so I would have given them to her anyway, and she owed me 20 dollars for a frame for a painting that I gave to her a couple weeks ago so I didn’t really make a profit but I can still cross it off my list so I got really excited!

I think that I can sell a painting but the price of frames is crazy. The only frame that I could get for cheep is 11 by 14 which I don’t think is worth selling. This one I did was 11 by 14 and is one of the best seascapes yet. I gave it away to a friend who was sick. She loved it!
