I want to take a moment to officially thank Chris Baty, the founding father of Nation Novel Writing Month. This month, thanks to NaNoWriMo, I was able to complete two goals with one pen/laptop. I 1.) finished NaNoWriMo, and 2.) wrote something every day for one month.
Thanks again to Chris and his wonderful crew.

I had three friends from Colorado in town over the Labor Day weekend, and I didn’t write on my Wolf project, but I wrote in my journal. I’m counting it.

It was almost physically painful to pick up the pen, but I did. I blathered on for 2.5 pages that will probably get binned in the the revision, but that’s beside the point.
I WROTE.
Yay me.

Did a little brainstorming after I read an article about some horrible, horrible murders in Georgia over the weekend. Terrible circumstances, but it generated 4 pages of new material.

I revised Ch.1 and sent to Paul for critique on Friday. Over the weekend I finished Ch.2 and started Ch.3.

project has been in the back of my mind for 4+ years now and last night I drug it out into the light and read over it.
Some of it is actually good.
It was fun reading over all of the comments from my old writing pals in CO, particularly J9. I got excited about it all over again. I’m going to send off a revised portion to Paul tonight for him to critique.
