I began this small piece last night, in a tiny spontaneous burst following months of creative lethargy It is sharpie, marker, pen and ink with a little acrylic over the pen.
It looks ok in the scan, but in person you can see that the beige paint is covering some stuff I decided to leave out. I kind of like how it shows trough, but not all of it. The dark blue swatch on the right was a mistake. I accidently picked up a dry erase marker instead of a sharpie (doh!).
Hints? Tips on where to go from here? How do you cover dry erase marker? One layer of acrylic and it still shows right through.
I would like to get better about planning a piece and sticking with it, rather than relying on the rare moments of “I have to make something right now.” Anybody have advice on that?
Best,
Gryphonie
