I still have some drawings to do

My initial goal was to finish them this year, but this will not be possible. My mum will have to wait a bit more. But I’m quite happy since the finished drawings look quite good.

I finished and coloured two illustrations this weekend. They look quite good.I still have to do a lot more. I really hope to find the time and the energy to complete this before the year ends…

Drawing again

I’ve been neglecting a bit this project, but I really would like to finish all the illustrations before my mother’s birthday, at the end of october. This would be a great companion to her gift… Let’s see if I can do it, or at least, if I can finish all them before the end of the year.

Slowly making progress

I’m not going as fast as I would like with this goal, but at least the resulting illustrations look fine. I’ve made seven of them so far and we will need about 21 to go with all the text.

I had some trouble with the watercolors, guess that’s what happens when someone like me, who lacks colouring technique, wants to experiment… Anyway I had some fun after the initial fright and the final result was quite good.

Illustrations

My mother wrote this children’s book some years ago. It’s a nice tale and I think it would be great to make the illustrations and try to publish it.
I will be working on this on my free time during next month.
