This year I’m reading faster than last ones. However I’m now very used to reading e-books (which are very practical to read on the train) so I still have lot of unread paper books and from time to time I can resist and buy new ones.

The year is ending and I’m re-evaluating some of my goals. This is one of the neverending ones… I always finish buying new books, both paper and digital. Since e-books are newer and don’t need space on my bookcase, for now I will limit this goal to the printed ones.
I’m now reserving a pair of shelves for unread books, this way I can see them easily and try to read one or two each month.

Since I bought the e-reader, I’ve been accumulating a bunch of new books … and I neglected a bit this goal. I read mainly on the train and is more practical to carry around digital than printed books. However I want to complete this goal, at least with my printed books.
And I think it’s time to be honest with myself and go once more through the bookcase and decide which books I really want to read and which ones I better find a new home for them. If I haven’t read them in four or five years, probably I’m not specially interested in those books.

I’ve been a bad girl and I’ve been buying some new books. I couldn’t resist!
Anyway I’ve read three of the ones that have been lying over here for years. There are others I don’t have any interest in reading (these ones are mostly inherited books). I’m going to get rid of them, will put them all in a box to sell or give to someone.
This will help to finish this goal sooner. Plus I don’t like to have in my “private library” books I don’t really enjoy.

I have about 60 books or so in my bookcase I haven’t read. Want to read them before buying any new book.
