My son met his new dentist. She was wonderful and he enjoyed everything.

a big place, and it’s not as near as I wish it would be, but every time I go makes me think I should make an effort and go there more often.

a picnic last Saturday. “Improvised” means the food wasn’t that good, just some sandwiches, cereal bars and something to drink. But it was relaxing for us and fun for our son. It wasn’t a particularly sunny day, which was good (because I burn so easily). This time I remembered to take the camera, so here are some pics…

We worked on a puzzle, played dominoes and cards. His daddy played some other games with him. I also gave him my old day planner, because he asked for it. He is very happy drawing on it and cutting and pasting things and generally feeling very busy and important.
And I also baked brownies…

to post the one my mom used to teach my son how to paint with a “reflection”. Our own impressionist moment…

is my personal favorite.
I’d like to keep everything he makes, but I do a good job of selecting just a few pieces (after a gallery moment like this, of course). I’m grateful for digital photography, though… :D

Near the end, the real fun begins
