Changed my goal 4 years ago

I had written the last entry a day or two before, when my goal was “get a tattoo”. And the I found this goal. The wording suits me better!

So this is what I wrote on roslyn43 ’s research:

Of course,
I can only speak for myself and speculate a little.
I want to get one that has some spiritual meaning for me. It’s not that I want to get a tattoo, but that there’s a particular drawing that represents something spiritual to me, which I obsess about. (I’m not saying religious because I think there’s a difference, but I don’t even want to get into that) It would also be a reminder that my life and my outlook have changed in many ways. Of course, I wonder a lot about getting something so permanent.
From the entries I read here, I see many people want to get one also as a reminder/symbol of a phase or moment or of an accomplishment.
But consider this: comparatively speaking, getting a tattoo requires much less money and/or effort than most other popular goals here (stop procrastinating, travel, getting teeth fixed or exercising), yet many people put the tattoo on the list and there it stays (me included)... I think that’s true especially when someone wants a tattoo but has not even an idea of what it should be… So maybe most of us are in fact afraid of living with that decision forever.

It's not that I don't know what 4 years ago

It’s the other way round: I never tought of getting a tattoo until I became obsessed (in a good way) with a celtic design with a trinity knot in the middle, more complex than just the knot. That was three years ago. But I worry about hepatitis, about really getting the drawing I want, about where would I want it (I think on my back, behind my left shoulder).
