Load my CD changer

I got a Sony 400 CD changer/player about a year ago and it is only 30% loaded. I want to finish loading it and have the CD’s cataloged in the player. Since my collection is greater than 400 CD’s I need to spend some time thinking about what I load into the changer and what I leave out. I also want to be able to return the CD to its jewel box if needed.
I think I will first group CD’s by style (classical, soundtracks, rock, children’s, jazz, etc) and then go with alphabetical order within the style groups. I got small white labels which I think I will put on the jewel box marked with the slot number that the cooresponding CD is put into. Now I just need a few blocks of free time to get it accomplished.
