learn to speak french

Someone told me I am not motivated enough to learn another language. I mean, I don’t even speak English right sometimes. I guess I will wait a few years. It’s not like I love France. I just love the language. I give up. I will put this goal and hold and see what happens. I am not in the mood for learning something like this right now. Maybe when I am not as overwhelmed. We will see.

I don’t know where I can find a good teacher…I mean, there are some, like, computer programs where they can teach you how to speak French…But whatever…I will have to ask my mom!

I used to live near Canada (I lived in Vermont). And lots of people spoke French in Canada. I liked the way the words were pronounced with an accent. I wanted to learn. There was this camp I went to in the summer. There was a French counselor. She was from France, literally. It was so cool. It was hard to speak the way she spoke, though, because she spoke with an accent. She was really funny, too. I thought it was cool how she spoke with some girls from Canada. They spoke French but only one spoke English. I want to learn how to speak French. It’s such a beautiful language. I think I will find a book or something that’ll teach me how. Yeah…that’s a good idea.
