I went to Paris 2 weeks ago =) Chris surprised me with a 3 day trip thursday-saturday as a graduation/18 months present =D Yay! Was awesome. Went on the eurostar, stayed right by the eiffel tower, wandered the streets, ate good food! Spent the friday at Disneyland =) DEFINITELY recommend Walt Disney Studios, much smaller, calmer, quieter and less crowded! And has the best ride – The Hollywood Tower Hotel – SO GOOD. Also has the Aerosmith ride which was awesome too. Walt Disney studios wasn’t there last time I was at Eurodisney so spent half the time there even though Disneyland probably requires more time than W.D.Studios. The studios are more to do with animation and has presentations about animation and stuff. Very good! And of course the Disneyland park was awesome too.
I had planned an awesome 3-or-so month trip to indonesia sort of February time next year, but have decided I’m not going to go 1)as I’m doing camp America may-august next year, 2) I should spend this year earning money and experience for uni and 3) I don’t have a travel buddy despite trying to find one!! I still REALLY REALLY want to go and am upset I’m not going, but will go with uni friends summer ‘11 hopefully!! =D
Really want to visit Stavanger in Norway, maybe I’ll orgaise a lil trip for me and Christopher =) Hopefully going to Paris again at Easter time with my best friend as she’s never been and I love it!
Also, me and Chris want to do a road trip of Ireland.
So I have some plans yaaaay =)

Long Weekends
I fancy going to Iceland for like a long weekend. Could go on a friday morning, get to Reykjavik, parttake in runtur, the huge big weekly party pub crawl =D and then spend the rest of the weekend at the blue lagoon recovering =) Hah, if only I had the funds.
Chris fancies going to Valencia for his birthday weekend. I’m down with that!!
I still don’t know anything about England though, I really should explore it.

Interrailing
K. My latest thing is interrailing. I REALLY want to do it. Like woah. I fancy going from sort of Finland down to Greece or something. And doing it reeeally cheap, like getting the cheapest ticket and cheapest accomodation and being a grubby scrub haha.I prefer the ideaof trains to just random backpacking, I don’t know why. I’d doit for like 3 weeks and WHOOP. A 2nd class continuous 22 day ticket thing is like £250 or something. And I really want to visit European sites now. The idea has grown on me. I’m gonna do it before I get too old! =)

I’ve only been back from holidays for like 2 months and I’m itching to go away somewhere already. I’m NOT going on holiday though until 2010!!! I’m determined!! It’ll pay off, money-wise. That is discounting Eurovision in Moscow and the Edinburgh Fringe this summer, obviously. They’re exciting enough to keep me busy planning them for a while =)
I made a map yesterday of holidays Chris and/or I want to do! Trans-Siberian Railway, US roadtrip and Oz roadtrip and a Greek island-hopping holiday. I’m tempted to go backpacking at some point for say 3 months, not too long but not pointlessly short. Around Europe appeals but I sort of want to go further out of my comfort zone. India/Cambodia/Thailand/Indonesia doesn’t appeal to me at the moment, whereas Africa does but I’m scared of all the politics there. I don’t kno-o-o-o-ow. South America?!

I’m thinking this would be a good time for the Greek Island hopping holiday I’ve been thinking about for a while. I’d like to go early or late summer, to avoid the really hot weather. Maybe with all the islands there’d be a nice sea breeze? Gosh, this REALLY appeals to me. Fly to Athens, then do like I dunno, 6 islands? I love boating and stuff, and seeing the movie Mamma Mia made me want to go to the Greek archipelago more than ever haha. It’d be a good thing to do cheaply, too, and would be fun with girlfriends and romantic with Chris, so it’s very versatile! =D
OR
Australia to visit Chris’s family friends. I think he really wants to go back again. I think he might even go in 2009, if he can afford it. I probably won’t be able to afford it! =( I’m literally desperate to go to oz though.
Yay world!!

I reeeeally wouldn’t mind being a travel writer! Haha. Also, www.wherethehellismatt.com is right up my alley. Matt is so lucky!! Or enterprising, whichever way you look at it =)
My boyfriend went on a world tour with his family years ago, and he’s pretty much already been everywhere! Lol. I’m sure he won’t mind going to places again! I don’t like the idea of going off for ages without him, you see. Did that this summer and it was saddening =( Places he hasn’t been where he would like to go: South Africa (that’s the top of MY list TOO! =)), Brazil and a roadtrip across America. Those are fine by me! But I want to go everywhere else too. I think I should say right here and now, I have JUST THIS SECOND decided I’m not going on holiday in 2009. I mean, I’ll go to Moscow to watch the Eurovision Song Contest (if we can pull it off), and travel around Britain, but I’m not gonna go anywhere extravagant. I’m not! I’m gonna hold back! I’m gonna save up and go somewhere amazing in 2010, or maybe even 2011. Omg, I can’t believe it’s nearly 2010! Anyway, I digress. Yay for the world!!! And all its craziness (Boom da yadda! – does anyone know what I’m on about?) xxx

Got home from Bude today! =) Me and my 2 friends roadtripped it down on Monday (it only took 2 and a half hours so it wasn’t much of a roadtrip lol) and got back today, friday. It was short and sweet! Loved it. Bude’s coastline is so gorgeous! Went to Tintagel Castle, where King Arthur was apparently born; went on a picnic; went to a disco in a random pub haha! Explored Bude; had a BBQ in the rain. Was lovely! We stayed in a 5* campsite, ‘Budemeadows’, for £10.50 a night – bargain!! =D

Got back from Sweden yesterday! It was really good, Stockholm is gorgeous and the weather is much similar to England, so I felt at home! Went up to a youth hostel in Ludvika for a few days for a party, went canoeing on a lake – yay! Stayed in Grand Hotel, above =)
