Bookies

Bought The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins and Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair by Pablo Neruda SUPER cheap from amazon! Exciting! I’m going to finish my Louis Theroux book first. I need to read more, I just carry my book around and never actually read! =)
And I’m not going to buy any chocolate tonight =)

Some progress.

I have been pretty good with chocolate the past month or so. Having no money does have its benefits – enforced chocoholic cold-turkey. The past week I have been craving choc a lot, but that has passed now. The ladies will understand, we all need chocolate at certain times.
So one part of the goal is going well! I can’t buy any books though as no money!!! But I am building up a nice wishlist =)

I bought some chocolate buttons today

and they did NOT hit the spot or taste as good as usual. I have realised I am still craving chocolate, however it does not satisfy me and I do not need chocolate!!

I am ridiculous!

Last night I was early for choir, and even though I wasn’t even hungry, I bought a bar of chocolate and a chocolate egg, and sat eating them and reading the paper. I’m such an idoit. Yesterday I got £10 out of my CREDIT account, for NO reason, bought a salad pot from sainsburys and a bottle of coke, just for the hell of it, even though I brought food to work with me. Today I have none of that £10 left, it just went on train tickets and food! UGH. I am such an idiot. I am so not conscious of my actions. I need to be more AWAKE and alert to the consequences of my actions. It’s just irresponsible, especially as I had just paid off that credit card. GUH. No books for me this week!

New goal!

I went to Waterstones today and there are sooooo many books I want to read. Mainly the classics as there is sadly a lot of boring awful pap about these days. Books are expensive and chocolate is not so, however the amount of chocolate I eat, I will soon have saved enough for a book haha. I bought ‘A Week in December’ by Sebastian Faulks to read on holiday next week. It is about 5 separate people in London and how their lives interlink over one week, I believe. Sounds very good! I read a bit of it and it seems like it is in quite a hard style to get into, but I’m sure I will manage and feel more intellectual for it afterwards =)
I then bought some chocolate, but I hadn’t set this goal at that point ;-) I buy so much and my belly does not thank me for it. THIS MUST STOP!!!!!
