It was, and the type of snow that city dwellers hadn’t seen for years. And there was a homeless chap, sitting in it, and people walking past him. I’d walked past him and then thought, turned around and gone into a coffee shop. The woman who served me was the rudest woman I can imagine, absolutely vile, and yet when I gave the man the coffee and sandwich his smile made it worth it.

it was pissing down with rain and i offered a homeless guy who always sits near my bank a packet of crisps, and he refused! turned it down! so i do not know whether i want to do this anymore, what if they all refuse?!
