be self-sufficient

i have four apple seeds that have just germinated to produce 4 little trees! theres a long way to go before they’ll produce apples. they are seeds from apples from some really lovely trees so its worth waiting for.

ive taught myself to make bread. i made my first lot of jam yesterday from blackberries growing in the field behind my house. and im growing my own herbs.

its a long way off self sufficiency!

next step..
gonna buy a book on organic gardening and learn to grow my own fruit and veg. thats about as much as i can do at my current house as i aint got room for chickens etc!

the aim..
complete self sufficiency. we have been to the centre for alternative technology and we know how our house is gonna be built once we have the land
